Cultural Excursion
Participants will be invited to explore Lombok’s cultural heritage through a specially arranged cultural excursion.
Sukarara Traditional Weaving Village
Participants will visit Sukarara, one of Lombok’s renowned traditional weaving communities, and learn about handwoven textiles, local craftsmanship, and the cultural traditions surrounding Sasak weaving.
Sasak Traditional Heritage – Ende Village
The excursion will continue to Ende Village, where participants can experience Sasak traditional architecture, cultural heritage, and traditional performance, providing a closer perspective on the living cultural traditions of Lombok.
TURTLE CONSERVATION ACTIVITY
As part of the conference’s commitment to connecting academic engagement with community and environmental awareness, participants will have the opportunity to take part in a Turtle Conservation and Release Activity.
The activity provides participants with an opportunity to learn about marine conservation and local environmental initiatives while contributing to a meaningful community-based experience.
OPTIONAL GILI ISLANDS EXCURSION
25 October 2026
Participants wishing to extend their stay in Lombok may join an optional excursion to the Gili Islands.
The Gili Islands are internationally recognized for their marine environment, coastal landscapes, and distinctive island communities.
Please note: The Gili Islands excursion is not part of the official Lombok World Forum 2026 program and requires separate registration and payment.

The official conference venue and recommended accommodation are the Prime Plaza Hotel Mataram, located in Mataram:
